Swoo came to visit our house! When he asked if I was still doing my hat blog, I said yes, but it has slowed down considerably since I no longer live in residence and no longer have hats delivered to my room on a daily basis.
And to begin I will tell you a story,
(I warn you, it might be a little bit corny)
There once was a girl named Karissa Dawn
She’d do about anything to avoid a yawn.
Life was a playground, from her point of view.
When called “ridiculous” she would say “Thank you,
If I have to be called something, I’m glad it is that.
And by the way, that is a fabulous hat.”
She was laughfilled, and silly, and somehow every day
She created a ruckus-filled scene in some way.
Be it costumes, or face paint, or by running around
The Queen of Mischief she was quite quickly crowned.
“Appropriate”, she thought, “but now it is vital
To do something HUGE to live up to my title.”
And so she decided to make up a goal
She looked in her heart, and she searched through her soul
She thought and she thought and then thought some more
She thought until her poor little head felt quite sore.
So she rubbed it, and covered it up with a hat
A light bulb went off – it was as simple as that!
“I will collect hats, of all shapes and all sizes
I’ll borrow or steal them, and the real surprise is
I won’t stop at fifty, nor a hundred and one
Until I have FIVE HUNDRED, I will not be done!”
She created a blog with a wink and a grin
“My greatest adventure is about to begin.”
